Long-Term Substitute Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

This contract opportunity spans from mid-November through mid-March, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference during a pivotal academic period. As a valued member of the educational team, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to deliver critical speech and language services on a consistent, full-time schedulefive days a week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLP - CCC credential
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity working with students on the autism spectrum
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
• Pennsylvania SLP licensure or eligibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in the Autistic Support classroom, utilizing evidence-based approaches
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the IEP team
• Document student progress regularly and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Support teachers by offering strategies and tools for communication development in the classroom
• Maintain up-to-date records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment where students can reach their communication goals
