Maintenance Technician (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous production operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and works effectively both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment and performing maintenance activities. Perform preventive maintenance (PM), corrective repairs, and equipment improvement projects. Accurately document all preventive maintenance, repairs, and project work in the Movex maintenance management system. Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively. Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts. Disassemble, repair, and reassemble production equipment using a variety of hand and specialty tools. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and equipment layouts. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete all required documentation. Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Properly handle and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. Demonstrate teamwork, accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude while supporting plant operations. Assist with additional maintenance and facility-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Required High school diploma or GED. Three (3) to five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of 480-volt motor controls and industrial electrical systems. Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals. Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), preferably Movex. Demonstrated skills in mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, hydraulics, welding/soldering, and basic machining. Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts, or the ability to become certified. Strong computer proficiency and basic mathematical skills. Excellent attendance, reliability, and time management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Ability to work at heights using elevated work platforms and in varying temperatures, noise levels, and other manufacturing conditions. Preferred Technical or trade school degree or certificate in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field. Industrial maintenance certifications or relevant equipment training. Pay Transparency The salary for this position starts at $26.49. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
