Job Summary:
The Electro Physiology (EP) Laboratory Specialist position is based in York, Pennsylvania, within a facility that specializes in invasive Cardiology procedures. This role involves supporting a high-volume EP Lab and Cardiac Catheterization Lab environment, performing advanced cardiovascular treatments including complex ablations, pacemaker insertions, and cardioversion. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of experience and is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). The shift is primarily day hours, with 10-hour shifts between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., and may require staying until all patients are cared for.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications, 2 years of experience in an EP Lab or related invasive Cardiology environment, proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system, and PA licensure (no license hits are accepted).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with End-Tidal CO2 monitoring, Activated Clotting Time (ACT), antiarrhythmics, and procedures such as cardiac ablation, pacemaker/ICD insertion, and cardioversion.
• Additional Information: Candidate must be willing to care for COVID-19 patients; facility is tobacco and fragrance-free. Vaccinations required include COVID-19 and influenza. No holidays are worked.
• Submittal Requirements: Clinical review for fit, case-by-case clinical screening, and manager interview.
• Vaccinations: COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are mandatory.
