Role The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) provides direct occupational therapy rehab care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Responsibilities Implement and follow treatment plans, document progress accurately, utilize therapy software, assist with patient mobility and safety, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. Qualifications & Skills NBCOT certification, graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program, current state licensure, proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong communication skills, and adherence to safety and confidentiality standards. New grads are welcome. Key Duties Participate in patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, maintain professional relationships, uphold company policies, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Work Environment Serve in skilled nursing facilities providing long-term and short-term rehabilitation for a diverse patient population with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs. Additional Requirements Maintain CPR certification, demonstrate professionalism, and follow safety protocols.
