CDL A Team Drivers

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting multiple seasoned, highly skilled CDL A Team Drivers to join one of our valued client partners. HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this dedicated refrigerated freight transportation opportunity. This position requires dependable team drivers with strong long-haul experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to maintain delivery consistency across multi-state dedicated routes involving refrigerated freight operations. HireNow Disqualifier: Candidates with jumpy or inconsistent work history will not be accepted or interviewed. Key Responsibilities Operate CDL A sleeper trucks across dedicated multi-state refrigerated freight routes Transport no-touch refrigerated freight while maintaining delivery timelines and cargo integrity Complete live load and unload schedules efficiently and professionally Execute dedicated route runs originating from Gilroy, CA with deliveries to IL, MI, OH, NJ, MA, GA, and FL Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure DOT compliance and equipment safety Maintain accurate ELD logs, mileage reporting, and required transportation documentation Communicate proactively with dispatch and logistics teams regarding route updates, delays, or operational concerns Work collaboratively within a team-driving structure to maximize efficiency and safety performance Maintain professionalism and compliance with all federal transportation regulations and company safety standards Required Qualifications (Highly Important) Valid CDL A license Proven team driving and long-haul experience Experience operating refrigerated freight equipment preferred Strong safety and DOT compliance history Ability to remain on the road with home time every two weeks Comfortable operating sleeper cab equipment across cross-country routes Strong time management and route planning skills Stable and consistent employment history Must reside within 100 miles of Gilroy, CA or Colton, CA Authorized to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications (Strongly Valued) Prior dedicated account or reefer freight experience Experience with live load/unload operations Familiarity with multi-state delivery routes Clean driving record with strong inspection history Experience utilizing electronic logging devices (ELDs) Strong communication and teamwork capabilities HireNow Disqualifiers Jumpy or unstable employment history Poor driving or safety record No CDL A license Lack of long-haul or team driving experience No refrigerated freight or transferable dedicated route experience DOT compliance concerns or serious violations Inability to work within team-driving operations Failure to meet geographic residency requirements HireNow Checklist HireNow Staffing is recruiting candidates who align with the following: Active CDL A license with strong driving record Experience in team driving and dedicated fleet operations Comfortable with refrigerated freight and long-haul schedules Able to remain on the road with home time every other week Strong DOT compliance and safety awareness Reliable, punctual, and operationally disciplined Strong communication and teamwork mindset Stable work history demonstrating long-term reliability HireNow Standout Candidates: Drivers with reefer and dedicated account experience Teams experienced with coast-to-coast freight operations Drivers with strong safety bonus and inspection records Professionals with consistent long-term transportation tenure CDL A drivers experienced in high-mileage delivery environments HireNow Package Compensation: Average Weekly Pay: $1,896 Top Weekly Pay: $2,193 Average Annualized Earnings: $98,599 Top Annualized Earnings: $114,080 Locations: Colton, CA (within 75–100 miles) Gilroy, CA Dedicated TEAM Driving Position Home Every 2 Weeks Live Load / Unload Mileage Pay Split Safe & On-Time Bonus up to 3% Route Coverage Includes: California Ohio New Jersey Massachusetts Georgia Florida Equipment: Sleeper Cab Equipment Refrigerated Trailers Benefits Include: Consistent dedicated freight Stable full-time opportunity Performance and safety bonuses Weekly mileage consistency Dedicated route structure HireNow Staffing Disclaimer HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this role.
