Maintenance Technician I - 30883We are currently looking for a Part Time 38 Maintenance Technician I to join our team located at the Black Gold Casino.Responsibilities:Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protectionMaintains accurate and timely processing of all electrical safety checks, preventive and corrective work orders, contracts and other applicable documentationPaints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as neededMaintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipmentMaintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lotMows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapesMaintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklersHauls file and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio-visual equipment following manufacturer's operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when neededIdentifies and corrects hazardous working conditionsProvides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiencyCompletes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunitiesWorks in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all typesMaintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environmentMaintains and promotes professionalismPunctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metricsAdheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standardsMaintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned areaPerforms all other duties as assignedCompetencies:Able to follow instructions, both written and oralAble to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirementsHonesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountabilityAble to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelinesAble to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and managementSkills:Basic Computer skillsWork Order Management ApplicationKnowledge, skill and ability to operate hand implementsExperience:No prior experience requiredEducation:High School, GED or EquivalentCredentials:Pass general background checkStandard Driver's LicensePass gaming background checkGaming license or permit as required by assigned positionWorking Conditions:May work where cigarette smoking occursMix of office/non-office settingsOutside, all weather conditionsOver head -- ladders, platforms, etc.Workshop/equipment yardComputers, printers, phonesHand-held radiosHand toolsPower toolsPotential exposure to blue and or white lightPotential exposure to cleaning fluids and solventsPotential exposure to dust and moldSlippery surfacesInteracts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situationsFrequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reachSometimes climb laddersSometimes climb stairsMay be required to crawlHand-eye coordination, reach and graspOperate hand toolsManual dexterityOperate mechanic toolsOperate power toolsSometimes work at heightsFrequently lift and or carry up to 50 lbsModerately strenuous workSitting up to 75% of shiftSometimes work in small or cramped areasStanding up to 75% of shiftVisual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perceptionWalking up to 75% of shiftCar, van, light truckScissor liftPass pre-employment drug testTraining: It is the responsibility of each employee to attend required training for their position or profession as determined by their line of support (LOS) or the leadership of the Chickasaw Nation.
