Base Pay $10.98 - $25.00 / Hour Other Compensation Tips Job Category Banquets Employee Type Part-Time Non-Exempt Responsible for serving food and beverage in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions per BMC standards. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Serves the guests in a professional and efficient manner Follows up on any reasonable requests while using proper serving techniques Removes dirty dishes from the tables as guests finish their meal or course Loads all dirty dishes from the banquet function on a cart and breakdown at the dish line Maintains open communication with the Kitchen staff Ensures station has proper set up Prepares and serves beverages for the function Checks the quality of food before serving Cleans up after the function; sweep, mop, clean dishes from table, put everything away Assists the set up staff in table set up; buffet set up, bar set up, etc. Completes all side work before end of shift Reviews the BEO's for menu details, special instructions, etc. Completes other tasks as assigned Physical Demands: To perform the essential job functions in this position it may require rigorous activity; grasping, writing, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods, walking, bending, stretching, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 30/40 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs while carrying heavy items. This associate must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time. The individual may frequently work in an outdoor climate. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
