The position of Event Host has a dress code of Business casual. This person should be comfortable speaking to, showing, and selling the event venue. Familiarity with Google Docs is a plus. Social media skills is a plus! The Host gives tours of the Venue to potential rentals. These can be scheduled to your convenience during the week and is usually 4-5/week. They also make sure the event is set up correctly and after the event they come back in to clean up and take down the event if there isn't a cleaning crew. This can be late hours after the event. Most events are on Thursdays, Fridays or Saturday nights. But NOT every Saturday. Normally it will be 1 or 2 per month. Flexibility is a MUST. Must be prompt, reliable and have great attendance. No criminal background. Equipment used might be Vacuum, mop, broom, mild cleaning chemicals. Wear sensible shoes but dress nicely. Pay depends on event and can range anywhere from $10/task to $120/event.
