About the Position

Our client is seeking a professional CDL B Box Truck Driver for a regional delivery position based in East Syracuse, New York. You will deliver cable equipment to internet provider stores and technology locations throughout Upstate New York and New England while providing dependable, white-glove service.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $25.09 per hour
Estimated weekly pay: $1,200
Overtime: Available after 40 hours
Per diem: $30 per layover
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start time: Between 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp-to-perm
Expected start date: July 1, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Regional
Freight: Cable equipment
Equipment: Automatic box truck
Handling: Heavy touch, white-glove deliveries using a pallet jack and hand cart
Deliveries are typically made to locations without loading docks and are completed using a liftgate.
Workdays may range from 12 to 14 hours, with approximately half a layover per week.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate an automatic box truck on regional routes throughout Upstate New York and New England.
Deliver cable equipment to internet provider stores and technology locations.
Unload freight using a pallet jack, hand cart, and liftgate.
Provide professional, reliable service at each delivery location.
Follow all applicable safety, transportation, and equipment-handling procedures.

Minimum Requirements

Valid CDL B.
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
