Job Summary

The Safety Specialist provides on-site safety support for an active data center facility. This role focuses on the implementation and oversight of core industrial safety programs in an operating environment. Positions may be located in Athens, GA, in Auburn, AL, or potentially across both sites — final structure is still to be determined. 

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Emergency Action Plan (EAP) programs and procedures.
  
  
• Oversee and administer Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and compliance.
  
  
• Support fire protection programs and related safety requirements.
  
  
• Administer confined space entry programs and associated safety oversight.
  
  
• Support maintenance safety functions and related industrial safety activities.
  
  
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of additional safety programs as required by site operations.
  
  
• Perform additional safety and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience with industrial safety functions in an operating facility environment.
  
  
• Working knowledge of EAP, fire protection, LOTO, confined space, and maintenance safety programs.
  
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to work in an active industrial environment.
  
  
• Proactive, dependable, and safety-focused work approach.
