Associate Dentist – Central CT Dental Group (Plainville, CT)

Full-Time: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday | $225,000-$325,000 annually

A Message From Dr. Lupini

More than 30 years ago, I joined Central CT Dental Group and had the opportunity to grow alongside a practice that has served the Plainville community for generations. Over that time, I have seen how rewarding dentistry can be when clinical skill, patient relationships, strong mentorship, and a commitment to doing things the right way all come together.

For me, dentistry has always been about more than treating teeth. It is about how patients feel when they walk through the door, how clearly we communicate, how much trust we build, and whether they leave feeling genuinely cared for. A great dental visit is not only defined by the quality of the clinical outcome, although that always matters. It is also defined by the patient’s confidence in the process, their comfort with the team, and their belief that we are recommending care for the right reasons.

That patient-first mindset has helped shape Central CT Dental Group into the practice it is today: a long-standing, multi-doctor practice with a loyal patient base, a talented team, modern technology, and a reputation for providing comprehensive care in a welcoming environment. Now, I am looking for a dentist who wants more than a standard associate position. My goal is to help the right dentist continue developing clinically, build lasting patient relationships, strengthen treatment planning and communication skills, and better understand how a successful practice is built and sustained.

Your Impact

In this role you will:

• Deliver comprehensive general, cosmetic and restorative dental care—with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
• Perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions, and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and operational partners for seamless, high-quality care.
• Leverage digital tools such as iTero, Cone Beam, and Overjet to support accurate diagnosis and patient communication.
• Engage in continuing professional development through SDM’s clinician network and learning resources.
• Contribute to a team culture built on respect, integrity and growth.

What You’ll Bring

• DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
• Active state dental license and DEA registration (as required).
• GPR or AEGD preferred.
• 3-5 years of proven proficiency in general dentistry, cosmetic, and restorative procedures.
• Endodontic, surgical and cosmetic dentistry experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
