Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team at Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Roslyn, Pennsylvania. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Brookside, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our residents.

Our specialized and highly trained team offers a continuum of the finest post-hospital recovery and extended-stay care in our innovative $1.9 million gymnasium and outdoor rehabilitative areas.

Responsibilities

As a Occupational Therapy Assistant at Brookside, your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care, including individual, concurrent, and group treatment modalities

• Providing excellent training for residents and caregivers

• Documenting services provided within Rehab Optima on a timely basis

• Exhibiting courtesy, compassion, and respect to residents, families, caregivers, visitors, physicians, administrators, and co-workers in each and every interaction

• Participating in clinical program development and implementation, as well as contributing to the team meeting and decision-making process

• Participating in quality improvement activities and performing additional assigned administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program and licensed in Pennsylvania

• New Grads are welcome

• Ability to lift, transfer, and position patients as needed

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
