Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin Emergency Department1201 W. 38th St, Austin, TX 78705• Deliver direct patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and quality improvement guidelines.• Assess patient conditions, record changes, and communicate critical updates to the interdisciplinary team to support timely, coordinated care decisions.• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety best practices.• Assess discharge planning needs and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe transitions, continuity of care, and positive patient outcomes.Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s):Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Both of the following:Advanced Life Support from the American Heart Association or client accepted.BLS Provider from the American Heart Association or client accepted.Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or client accepted.TNCCNIHSSCPIEducation:Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.
