Custodian Full Time MO - St James, Saint James, MO, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 9079 Job Summary The Custodian provides custodial services for designated buildings. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Qualifications Possess a current, valid MO class F driver's license and meet the Great Circle requirements for driver’s insurance Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently. Experience Demonstrated high degree of reliability and ability to work independently Preferred Experience / Skills Experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environment Major Duties Follow housekeeping schedule and scope of work as outlined by supervisor. Maintain and clean all floors, walls, glass surfaces; picking up debris, sweeping, mopping, wiping down, scrubbing, and vacuuming surfaces. Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, break rooms, offices, classrooms, corridors, entryways, walking areas, and common use areas. Empty trash receptacles, replace liners and place trash in dumpsters. Replenish personal care products and sanitary supplies. Spot clean mats, flooring, including carpets and use janitorial equipment such as extractors, scrubbers, buffers, commercial vacuums, and shampoo machines. Wipe down chairs (sanitize), countertops, desks, light switches, light lenses, door handles, door jambs, railings, doors, stalls, and fixtures.
