Sun & Sol Co. is hiring a senior Growth Strategist to own new business end-to-end, from relationship-led pipeline building and discovery through proposals, closing, onboarding and revenue reporting. Responsibilities Own the top of funnel: inbound, referral, and partnership development. Nurture our network and industry relationships to drive quality referrals. Source and nurture qualified opportunities through our network, partnerships, and community presence. Represent Sun & Sol Co. in strategic conversations where warranted. Run one high-quality chemistry call with every prospective client (a second for complex or custom scopes). Qualify leads against our ICP and budget minimums. Gracefully pass on opportunities that aren’t aligned, with warmth and confidence. Own and evolve our proposal and scoping system across our tiered service model. For strong opportunities, deliver proposals within 24 hours of every chemistry call. Partner with channel leads on scoping accuracy for complex or custom engagements. Close new business, bringing founders in only for the largest or strategically significant deals. Own the handoff: brief channel leads and support onboarding through the first 30 days. Own and evolve our existing pipeline and reporting system. Report to founders on pipeline health, close rates, and forecasted revenue. Track qualitative wins and patterns alongside the quantitative data. Run quarterly working sessions with channel leads to feed prospect insights back into service scoping and positioning. Tap channel leads into discovery calls where their channel is the hero service, and collaborate with them through onboarding. Partner with the founders on evolving our service offerings and pricing tiers. Help shape the story of Sun & Sol Co. as it lives in the market. Requirements 5-8 years in marketing, strategy, or business development at a digital agency, brand consultancy, or CPG brand. A strong marketing and strategy foundation. You can walk into a discovery call and speak fluently to what a brand needs and where the opportunity is. A track record of building and closing pipeline in a relationship-led, longer-cycle environment. Sharp written and verbal communication. Familiarity with the CPG landscape, ideally craft food and beverage. Comfort selling to CMOs, CEOs, and founders. An instinct for team culture.
