Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Occupational Therapists to work on a contract basis supporting students across a variety of ages and needs near San Bernardino, CA. This role will take you to different school sites as an itinerant provider, allowing you to have a positive impact on a diverse student population. The contract runs from ASAP through the end of the 2026-2027 school year, with a consistent full-time schedule of 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday.
Ideal candidates bring strong experience in school-based occupational therapy and are adaptable to both school and home health settings. Your expertise will help students achieve their maximum potential in educational and functional skills.
Qualifications:
- Current and active OT license
- Previous experience in school-based OT; experience with home health and healthcare OT is a plus
- Ability to work with a cross-categorical caseload at multiple school sites
- Excellent collaboration and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering student growth and independence
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with diverse abilities across various school locations
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
- Provide consults or direct interventions as required per student IEPs
