Lead Cloud Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Orchestrate seamless migration from on-premises data centers to AWS EKS, ensuring zero downtime.
Design and build infrastructure and systems that ensure high levels of scalability, reliability, and performance.
Implement and manage robust Cron job/DAG schedulers within Kubernetes environments.
Collaborate with the engineering team to continuously implement and improve reliable and speedy build environments.
Develop and provide custom self-service tools for developers to securely manage infrastructure components.
Lead the transition from traditional release windows to GitOps workflows
Promote innovation and foster a culture of outside-the-box thinking, teamwork, and self-organization.
Ensure traceability, observability, and retrievability of system behavior to maintain high standards of system monitoring and logging.
Design and develop comprehensive CI pipelines for unit tests, contract tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.

Required Technologies:

Kubernetes
Terraform
AWS
ArgoCD

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience with terraform.
Extensive experience in site reliability engineering and cloud migrations.
Proven experience with platforms, application-level development, pipeline build, and automation to support build and testing.
Strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to build enterprise cloud-native solutions.
Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency.
Experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving issues related to CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to empower developers with custom tools.
