Project Accountant

Overview Large architecture practice located in New York City looking for a Project Accountant to join their operations team. This is a well-run practice with strong operational support across all levels. The Project Accountant will be supporting design projects from kickoff through closeout, working closely with project managers. This position is on a hybrid schedule with three days a week in the office + a competitive salary and generous benefits package. Responsibilities Project accounting end to end: setup, billing, revisions, timelines, expenses, revenue recognition, invoice processing, collections, and closeouts Quality control of standards and procedures Review of project documentation, contracts, and change orders Project review meetings and financial reporting Keeping PMs and stakeholders in the loop on project updates Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent 5+ years of project accounting experience in the architecture, interior design, or engineering industry Experience with Deltek Sharp attention to detail and excellent communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
