Description: The Registered Nurse will work in a Mother-Baby unit. The primary responsibilities include providing care for mothers and newborns during immediate postpartum and up to six weeks postpartum. The nurse will assist with infant care and mother education. Core skills include administration of medications and IV therapy, newborn assessments, postpartum education, and managing complications. The nurse will ensure compliance with care protocols and standards. Weekend shifts will be required based on unit needs. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining patient safety and quality of care. There will be opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration with various services. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
