You will be part of a highly engaged and motivated team dedicated to delivering the highest quality of care in a supportive environment.Unit InformationLocation: City, StateNumber of Beds: 12 Labor Delivery Recovery (LDR) beds, 5 Ante Partum beds, 4 OB Emergency Department (OBED) beds, 3 Operating Room (OR) roomsStaffing: 72 total staff including nursing, Certified Surgical Technologists (CST), and schedulersPatient Ratios: 1:2 and 1:1 based on transitions and acuityType of Equipment: Alaris Pumps, CADD epidural pumpsEMR: CPN and MeditechPermanency: Permanent positions available on the unitTypical Hiring ProfileQualificationsMust-have Qualifications:Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)At least 2 years of experience in High Risk Obstetrics (OB)Nurses with a minimum of 3 years of experience in High Risk OBCurrent certification in Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)/AWHONN Intermediate EFMPreferred Qualifications:Experience with High Risk OB including Massive Transfusion protocolsFamiliarity with Placenta Accreta Spectrum Disorders (PASD)Typical ProceduresC-sectionsSpontaneous Vaginal Deliveries (SVD)Dilation and Curettage (D&C)Dilation and Evacuation (D&E)Twin deliveries with SVD and C-sectionScheduled and non-scheduled emergent Cesarean HysterectomiesMassive TransfusionsUnit Culture and Personality FitThe ideal candidate will possess a highly engaged, motivated, and positive outlook.
