Registered Nurse, Med/Surg

The Registered Nurse plays a vital leadership role in the healthcare team by establishing genuine, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They collaborate with physicians and team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or support peaceful death. The nurse utilizes evidence-based practices and compassion to guide patients through their health journey, taking responsibility, authority, and accountability for care management in accordance with current policies and procedures. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing school; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. At least one year of acute nursing experience. Current RN licensure in the appropriate state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Red Cross or American Heart Association. For inactive, retired, or lapsed licenses of five years or more, completion of a Board-approved refresher course is required prior to reactivation or reinstatement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
