About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Experience with various surgical procedures including both general and robotic surgeries - Ability to float to other units as necessary - Availability to work 1 Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation and 2-3 on-call shifts in a 6-week rotation Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Applicants must be willing to float to other similar units as needed. Experience with surgical procedures such as hysterectomy, hernia repair, and laparoscopic surgeries is essential. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment with interdisciplinary support. Applicants should possess a current BCLS certification. All travelers must comply with floating policies within the designated state. This role requires commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays throughout the contract period. Candidates must provide 2 references that cover 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Those who have previously worked in this field are encouraged to apply.
