About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for a pioneering members-only home-swapping network. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of marketing, with a strong focus on customer acquisition and re-engagement. This includes owning the marketing budget, managing a team of employees and contractors, and working closely with cross-functional partners to ensure the success of the marketing efforts. The role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in a senior growth marketing position, preferably within a consumer-focused technology startup. The VP of Marketing will be expected to be highly analytical, data-literate, and an exceptional executor, capable of both high-level strategy and hands-on execution. Candidates for the VP of Marketing role at the company should have a minimum of 12-15 years experience in a senior growth marketing role, with a background in high-performing marketing organizations. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver, highly analytical, and have a strong intuition for marketing and brand positioning. They must be adept at managing teams, have a keen eye for design and copywriting, and excel in communication and project management. A relentless focus on the customer and the ability to simplify complex issues is essential. Bonus points are awarded to candidates who are members of the home-swapping network. The role is not for those who shy away from early execution and close involvement in the details of the work and is best suited to individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and resourceful environment.
