About the Position

• Requirements: Board Certified, Active PA License or IMLC, NRP required, need minimum7 shifts per month and must be willing to cover Harrisburg and Lititz locations. 
• Schedule: 24 hour shifts - in-house call.

• Daytime NICU coverage 0830-1630 includes daily rounds for patients, delivery room coverage, prenatal consults as needed, and support of transport services.
• Daytime coverage team includes both Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs.
• Nighttime NICU coverage 1630-0830 includes ongoing care and management of NICU patients, delivery room coverage, prenatal consults as needed and transport services.
• Nighttime coverage needs are shared between two NICU providers at Harrisburg
• Is APP/Mid-Level Coverage Available? Yes at Harrisburg, not at Lititz
• APP/Mid-Level Shift Times: 24 hour coverage
• Rounding: AM
• Paging System: Yes
• On Call: Yes
• Avg Admissions While On Call 1-3
• Types of Calls: In-House
• Call in house overnight call coverage provided by 2 providers - 1 Neonatologist and 1 APP or 2 Neonatologists
