Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Days, 8 hours

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 40

Requirements:

• License: Registered Nurse
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Years of Experience: 3+ years of Critical Care experience (ED/ICU), IR nursing experience
• Experience: Adult patient population experience
• EMR: Epic experience (preferred)
• Specialized Experience: Stroke experience (preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic care to patients and their families across the life cycle, including neonates, children, adults, and older adults.
• Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Develop and revise patient care plans and coordinate care among healthcare providers.
• Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
• Implement personal leadership qualities to enhance practice standards and patient care environments.
• Perform unit-based skills as outlined in the specific unit skill list.
