Associate Portfolio Manager

Our Core/Core Plus Multi-Sector Team is in search of an Associate Portfolio Manager (APM) who will assist in the launch and development of the Core/Core Plus SMA strategy at Lord Abbett.

We'll Trust You To:

• Take primary responsibility for overall high-level asset allocation and co-responsibility for sub-industry allocations in SMA strategies and accounts in alignment with the team's overall views
• Communicate the Core/Core Plus story – Team, Process, Competitive Advantages, Macro Outlook, and Positioning Themes internally and externally
• Train and provide oversight of junior members of the team
• Develop strong relationships with counterparties and partners

You'll Need To Have:

• 8 - 12+ years of experience in portfolio management with some experience in multi-sector or dedicating sector investing
• Buy-side experience working in a team-based environment is preferred
• Strong organizational skills to manage across many different sectors
• Ability to effectively communicate and drive positive outcomes in a collaborative, results-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MA, MBA and/or CFA designation is viewed positively

Compensation Information: Annual base salary for this role is $200,000 - $250,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.

Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
