Description The primary purpose of the Internship and Practicum Specialist I role is to support the Internship and Practicum Team through coordination, tracking, and facilitation of student learning experiences across the agency. This position supports the day-to-day logistics of the Internship and Practicum program and serves as central support to all layers of the team. Essential duties include maintaining accurate records, managing multiple systems and databases and coordinating communication across teams. The Internship and Practicum Specialist I also serves as a liaison between departments, including medical, clinical, crisis, and addiction recovery center teams, to ensure alignment and collaboration. EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE: • Data entry and clerical experience • Success working in a team • Strong attention to detail • Ability to work independently • Proficient in technology tools such as MS Office, database software, and internet-based software KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge • Familiarity with onboarding procedures, compliance requirements, and basic HR processes
• Knowledge of scheduling systems and coordination across multiple teams
• Basic understanding of data tracking and reporting needs within a program

• Ability to coordinate schedules and manage multiple moving pieces
• Clear and professional communication with students, staff, and leadership
• Proficiency in technology tools (MS Office, databases, Teams, email systems)
• Ability to track, maintain, and update program data accurately

• Adapt to changing needs and support overall program operations • Demonstrates and models continuous learning while contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment In addition, must possess skill in working cooperatively and effectively with clients, staff, management, and other professional groups; in exercising mature judgment in dealing with people; in presenting ideas clearly and accurately; in reading and comprehending the English language; and in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position is responsible and held accountable for the following duties: • Scheduling and Coordination: Coordinate high volume student scheduling, including interviews, shadowing, and program activities across multiple teams; confirm and adjust schedules as needed with students, supervisors, and staff • Application and Communication Support: Pull and review applications from UKG; follow up on missing or incomplete information; respond to ongoing program inquiries and ensure timely communication with applicants and staff • Help Desk and Document Management: Handle and respond to a high volume of help desk tickets, including liability insurance requests and shadowing coordination; review, organize, and maintain student documentation. • Onboarding Support: Coordinate onboarding logistics, including screenings, badges, and New Hire Orientation; track onboarding steps and follow up to ensure completion across multiple students at different stages • Program Events and Surveys: Coordinate and track program surveys; plan and send invitations for program events; track registration and attendance and support event logistics • Data and Program Support: Maintain program tracking systems and ensure data is accurate and up to date; support scheduling and facility coordination; ensuring compliance requirements are met; provide ongoing administrative and operational support to the Internship and Practicum program; contribute to program outcomes. • Understands and promotes our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) concept by providing or supporting community-based mental and substance use disorder services; advancing integration of behavioral health with physical health care; assimilating and utilizing evidence-based practices on a more consistent basis; and promoting improved access to high quality care. • Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or other management as requested. • Meet or exceed "satisfactory" expectations at any scheduled job performance evaluation. • Regular and predictable attendance is essential and expected for this position. Must perform the specific job duties as listed above to meet position expectations.
