At Duraco Specialty Materials, Manufacturing Engineers are connected to how work actually gets done. This is a hands-on role where ideas move quickly from concept to the production floor. You'll work closely with operators, supervisors, and technical teams to improve processes, solve problems, and support customer needs.

What You'll Do
• Support setup of converting equipment for new SKUs and custom customer requests
• Work directly with unwind/rewind systems, web handling, and material flow
• Design or improve dies, and die management
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues alongside operations
• Use AutoCAD and Excel for layouts, analysis, and decision-making
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on uptime, yield, and waste reduction

Who This Role Is For
You're likely a good fit if you have hands-on experience with converting or web-based manufacturing equipment and enjoy solving real-world problems on the production floor. Experience with coaters, laminators, slitters, or similar equipment is strongly preferred.

This role is not intended for early-career engineers without manufacturing exposure or those seeking a primarily office-based position. A Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree is preferred, though equivalent hands-on experience is valued.
