An overview of this position entails… This position is responsible for preparing nutritional and attractive meals for clients and staff at the Life Adjustment Program. Responsibilities Demonstrate ethical and professional behavior that align with the values of the Hilltop’s Life Adjustment Program, including Service 1, how we treat each other, and Service 2, how we treat the residents. Service 1 and Service 2 is demonstrated by setting boundaries, being predictable, consistent, kind, and transparent. Complete basic meal specials, daily prep cooking duties, basic soups, sauces, and desserts from scratch and to the Food Service Manager’s specifications. Prepare resident meals per individualized care plans. Prepare and plate meal orders utilizing proper food handling and presentation. Follow all Mesa County and Colorado Department of Health regulations to proper food handling including proper hand washing, temperature logs, and sanitizing of food service equipment. Ensure food and supplies are at correct temperature and condition when received. Rotate and stock supplies according to health codes and Food Service Manager’s specifications. Assist with catering duties as needed. Assist with cleaning, sanitizing, and safely washing dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, bus tubs, etc. Deep clean, sweep, and mop as assigned. Inspecting and maintaining proper chemicals for the dishwasher. More Specifically, In This Role We Request This position requires some specific skills that we hope you can bring. Education & Experience High school or equivalent preferred, plus one year of related experience. Minimum 18 years of age required. Part-time and full-time schedules that can fit your needs. The schedule for this specific position is Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30a-6:30p or Sunday/Monday 10:30a-6:30p and Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-2:30p.
