Job Summary:
This registered nurse position is located in Des Moines, Iowa. The role involves providing patient care in a medical-surgical with telemetry unit that includes specialties such as orthopedics, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg tele. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on their first day and must be flexible to float across various med-surg floors, including the WestLakes Campus located approximately 9.5 miles from downtown.

Job Details:

• Specialty: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE)
• Location: Des Moines, Iowa
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift time is from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, every other shift, including holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical with telemetry setting; ability to float to all med-surg floors including orthopedic, neurology step-down, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg tele units; willingness to float to the WestLakes Campus.
• Additional Information: The unit covers various specialties including orthopedics, neurology, oncology, surgical telemetry, and med-surg tele. Candidates must be adaptable to float across multiple units during shifts.
