Salary Range: $59,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Norton Shores that are seeking Assembly Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train assembly line personnel.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Maintain quality control standards and address any deviations.
• Optimize workflow and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate maintenance as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing assembly, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of assembly processes, tools, and equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of assembly technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin)
• Experience with automated assembly processes
• Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel and ERP systems
