Customer Operations Specialists are members of the fulfillment team within the global supply chain organization, based in Gonzalez, Florida. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating all activities necessary to provide sales, service, and distribution support to our customers. The successful candidate will focus on ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing logistics costs, and inventory management. Strong planning, analytical skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work across functions at all levels are essential.



Job Responsibilities

• Act as a primary contact for customers, managing orders from receipt to invoicing, including order entry, confirmation, tracking, pricing verification, and data stewardship.
• Address customer feedback and complaints, assisting in resolving issues and communicating solutions.
• Make proactive calls to customers for status updates on forecasts and orders.
• Execute routing and fulfillment requests, manage documentation such as invoices and shipping details, and coordinate with freight forwarders for export orders.
• Monitor open orders ensuring timely shipment and invoicing.
• Submit return and manual pricing requests for approval.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Sales, Supply Chain) to ensure prompt responses and resolution of order issues.
• Use best practices to improve order management and fulfillment processes.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal support groups including Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Quality Assurance.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations for customer complaints, utilizing A2E tools for problem-solving and process improvement.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancements related to order and fulfillment.
• Provide daily updates on order status and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in a customer service or customer-facing role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, supply chain, international business, sales, or marketing (preferred).
• Green Belt or Six Sigma training (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced computer skills.
• Knowledge of SAP supply chain modules (Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning) is highly valued.
• Demonstrates proactive leadership and effective collaboration at all organizational levels.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to provide after-hours support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay Rate: $25/hour
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
• This is a temporary position through January 4.
