Caregiver (HHA, PCA) On-Call

Moose Lake Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring On-Call Caregivers (HHAs or PCAs) to join our team in Moose Lake, MN. This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. As a Caregiver, you will provide person-centered care to our residents, supporting them with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as showering/bathing, shampooing of hair and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. This position is ideal for someone who truly wants to make a difference in the lives of others. You can grow your career at Moose Lake Village as well, should you desire to become a CNA, we will assist you with that. Position Type: On-Call Available Shifts: Days, 6:00am to 2:00pm Evenings, 2:00pm to 10:00pm Nights,10:00pm to 6:00am New Wage Range:

• 19 - $19.97 / hour without NAR Certification
• 20 - $21.55 / hour with NAR Certification

Shift Differential: Evening $1.00 / hour Nights $2.00 / hour Location: 710 S Kenwood Ave, Moose Lake, MN Caregiver Responsibilities: Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration. Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the general environment. Document services performed on computerized charting system. Perform delegated nursing or therapy procedures. Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor. Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion. Complete other duties as assigned. Caregiver Qualifications: Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position! Bonus points for (CNA) certification! Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Comfortable standing and walking most of the time. Must be 18 years or older.
