Physiatrist Independent 1099 (Las Vegas)

Overview

Concentra, one of the largest health care companies in the nation, is seeking a Physiatrist / Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist to work on site as an independent 1099 contractor. The role is a contract position designed to complement a private practice. A typical partnership involves treating patients on site for about a 4‑hour shift weekly or biweekly. Concentra’s Advanced Specialists manage medically complex patients, expedite return to work and promote functional restoration. Working collaboratively with medical and therapy providers, the specialist may provide EMGs and NCS for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work‑related injuries, and will communicate with employers and take an active role in case management.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a half‑day per week or biweekly basis.
• Schedule flexibly to accommodate private practice commitments.
• Perform specialty services, including EMGs and NCS, for work‑related injuries.
• Communicate directly with employers and manage patient cases.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience treating patients with work‑related injuries.
• State licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program.
• Unrestricted DEA license for the jurisdiction.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Medical Malpractice Insurance covering on‑site duties.
