About the Opportunity

We are looking for motivated individuals interested in building a career in the financial services and insurance industry as Independent Insurance Agents.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity, not a traditional salaried or hourly employee position. Agents have the flexibility to build their own client base, manage their own schedule, and earn income based on their production.

Whether you’re experienced in insurance or looking for an opportunity to enter the industry, training and mentorship are available.

What You’ll Do

Educate individuals and families about life insurance and financial protection strategies

Identify clients’ insurance and financial protection needs

Present insurance and financial products based on client needs

Develop and maintain client relationships

Generate business through networking, referrals, community outreach, and other approved marketing activities

Follow applicable insurance regulations and company compliance requirements

Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Compensation

This is a commission-only 1099 independent contractor position. There is no guaranteed hourly wage or salary.

Compensation is based on eligible sales and production, subject to applicable carrier and company compensation schedules. Income can vary significantly based on individual production, experience, market, and time invested.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Professional and coachable

Self-motivated and able to work independently

Comfortable speaking with prospective clients

Willingness to obtain and maintain the required insurance license

Previous insurance, sales, customer service, or financial-services experience is helpful but not requiredImportant Classification Notice
