Job Title: Senior Voice Engineer (Avaya Voice & UC)
Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Voice Engineer with deep expertise in Avaya Voice Infrastructure, Unified Communications, Contact Center technologies, SIP/VoIP, and Voice Automation . The ideal candidate will provide L3 production support , lead complex troubleshooting efforts, drive voice transformation initiatives, and build automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for enterprise voice and unified communications environments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues involving Avaya telephony, SIP trunks, SBCs, call routing, and contact center platforms.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions.
- Lead voice migrations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.
- Support major production incidents and customer escalations.
- Collaborate with network, security, and application teams.
- Develop automation solutions for voice operations, monitoring, and reporting.
- Create dashboards, health checks, operational reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with telecom carriers for SIP, PRI, and circuit-related issues.
- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.
