Also performs all related work for golf course maintenance. Essential Functions Mows greens, tees, fairways, aprons, roughs and approaches to greens with gang units and other areas not accessible with gang mowers; operates turf vac, fairway, rough aerator, power rakes for sand bunkers, aerators greens, verticut tees and greens, spike greens sod cutter, spray rigs and fertilizer spreaders; mows roughs with rotary and operates other equipment as directed. Adjusts fairway and rough mowers as needed to insure quality cut. Maintains gasoline, oil, and other equipment fluid levels daily. Ensures that equipment cooling system is working at all times. Cleans equipment daily and reports equipment problems or failures to mechanic immediately. Performs basic preventive maintenance and returns equipment to designated area. Skills & Abilities Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Experience: One‑year golf course experience preferred. Computer Skills: (not specified). Certificates & Licenses: Valid driver’s license with good driving history required if duties require use of a company vehicle.
