Job Title: Automation Technician

Location: Rochester, NY 14625

Duration: 12 Months with possible extension

Pay rate: $34.50/hour on W2

Shift: Monday-Friday- 3rd shift - 10:30pm - 7:00am

Job Summary:

Seeking an Automation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance .
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems .
• Adjust, calibrate, and maintain industrial robots, servo drives, and motors .
• Repair equipment such as pumps, valves, gearboxes, cylinders, and extruders .
• Read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Use industrial tools and machining equipment for repairs.
• Follow LOTO, OSHA, safety, and environmental requirements .
• Support Kaizen, PPI, 4Dx, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.

Requirements:

• Technical education in Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Electromechanical preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience with industrial automation, PLCs, robotics, or maintenance preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in confined spaces.
