General Production Worker

Forklift Operator

This role focuses on operating forklifts and production equipment to support a busy manufacturing environment. You will handle materials, load and unload parts, assist with processing operations, and help maintain clean and safe equipment and work areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment such as washers, hardening furnaces, annealing furnaces, and related machinery according to established procedures.
• Make up and stock cartons with materials and supplies to ensure production lines remain fully supported.
• Load and unload parts and scrap into machines in a safe, efficient, and organized manner.
• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts and hand trucks to move materials throughout the facility and position materials at workstations.
• Perform material handling tasks, including staging, picking, and transporting items as needed for production.

Essential Skills

• Manufacturing experience in a production or industrial environment.
• Experience operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts, with willingness to obtain onsite forklift certification.
• Ability to perform material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, picking, and staging materials.

Work Environment

Available schedules include 2nd shift (MondayFriday, 2:00 p.m.10:00 p.m.) and 3rd shift (SundayThursday, 10:00 p.m.6:00 a.m.).

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wausau, WI.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $19.09 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
