Travel Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer - Echo/Cardiac

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with 2+ years of experience performing echocardiography and vascular studies, including bubble studies, contrast exams, and a full range of vascular assessments.

Job Details

• 5x8 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM,
• Floating within clinical scope to meet facility needs is required, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius,
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo and Vascular Sonography experience,
• ARDMS, CCI, RDCS, or RVT certification required,
• Active license required if applicable - pending state licensure is not accepted,
• Proficiency in echocardiography including bubble studies and contrast exams,
• Vascular experience to include segmental pressures, arterial leg studies, carotid studies, and venous insufficiency exams,
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility - local candidates are not accepted,
• A valid driver's license or state-issued ID and a utility bill in the traveler's name with a matching address from within the last 3 months are required for consideration,
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration,
• Copies of certifications required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Perform echocardiographic studies including bubble studies and contrast exams,
• Perform vascular studies including segmental pressures, arterial leg studies, carotid studies, and venous insufficiency exams,
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible,
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; holiday and blackout dates may not be requested as time off
