As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage accounts, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction while actively soliciting both past and new business. The goal is to achieve or exceed all revenue targets, including room nights, average rates, and room rentals.Essential Job Functions:Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulnessDrive group sales by proactively seeking new business opportunities and responding promptly to inquiriesLead and manage the efficient sale of guest room nights and room rentals within the Sales & Catering DivisionConduct site inspections with potential and existing clients, showcasing our exceptional offeringCoordinate with relevant departments to ensure seamless account servicingBuild and nurture strong relationships with the local Chamber of Commerce, civic groups, and businesses.Wage: Starting at $68,000 per year commensurate experience; additional quarterly incentive bonuses achievable based on performancePhysical Demands:Ability to sit for long periods of timeAbility to exercise judgement in evaluating situations and making sound decisionsQualifications:Education:High school diploma or its equivalentExperience:Two years Hospitality Sales and/or Convention Service experience preferredPrevious Sales experience requiredConfident utilizing MS outlook, Word, and ExcelPrevious experience with hotel PMS systems a plus.
