Job Opportunity – Neuroscience Stepdown Registered Nurse – Tennessee

Start Date: September 7, 2025

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; specific scheduling determined during assignment. Experienced nurses may float after orientation is complete.

• 30-bed Neuroscience unit with 22 Acute Care beds and 8 Stepdown beds
• Patient ratios: 6:1 on Acute Care, 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown
• Comprehensive case mix including stroke care, Vapotherm, BiPAP, trachs, and titrating cardiac drips
• Meditech EMR system for documentation
• Supportive staffing model with dedicated RN Charge Nurse, unit techs, and unit secretary
• Excellent pathway for nurses seeking to advance to critical care environments

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing
• BLS certification required for all positions
• ACLS certification required for Neuro Stepdown assignments
• Strong acute care nursing skills and time management abilities
• Stepdown experience preferred for Neuro Stepdown assignments
• Advanced critical thinking skills and clinical judgment
