Talent Acquisition Specialist

Hill International is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Houston, or Dallas Texas Hill International is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting efforts across our Southern and Western U.S Region. This role will be responsible for full-cycle recruiting, partnering closely with hiring managers and clients to attract, engage, and hire top talent across a variety of technical positions. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding coordination. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce needs, define position requirements, and develop effective recruitment strategies. Support staffing efforts for both active project needs and proposal pursuits by identifying and engaging qualified talent. Source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media platforms, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach. Conduct candidate screenings and assessments to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience. Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operations leadership, hiring managers, Human Resources partners, and Talent Acquisition team members. Utilize the applicant tracking system (ATS) to manage candidate activity, recruitment metrics, and hiring workflows. Prepare and present offers, facilitate compensation discussions, and support successful candidate closings. Represent Hill International at industry conferences, career fairs, networking events, and other talent attraction initiatives. Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts to enhance Hill's visibility within the talent marketplace. Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment. Experience recruiting within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry is highly preferred. Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), CRM platforms, job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other sourcing tools. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Oracle Recruiting Cloud experience preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple requisition workload and balancing competing priorities. Experience developing strong partnerships with hiring managers and cross-functional stakeholders. Strong negotiation and candidate-closing skills in a competitive talent market. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment. High level of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and attention to detail. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of two days per week in the office.
