Canopy Lawn Care is building a high-energy Field Sales & Marketing Team that will take our growth directly into the neighborhoods we serve. You’ll spend your shifts walking neighborhoods, knocking on doors, talking with homeowners, generating leads, and helping homeowners get on the path to a healthier and greener lawn. You’ll be trained on our proven process and coached every week to help you get better. No prior sales experience required. What we care about is your attitude, consistency, communication skills, and willingness to work the process.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Your job is simple: Walk. Knock. Talk. Generate. Repeat. You'll: Walk targeted neighborhoods representing the Canopy Lawn Care brand. Knock on homeowners' doors and confidently introduce yourself. Start conversations and quickly build rapport. Generate qualified leads for Canopy Lawn Care. Present our lawn-care program to qualified homeowners. Close recurring lawn-care customers when the opportunity is there. Follow a proven sales and marketing process. Track your activity and results. Work toward daily and weekly goals. Participate in team competitions, challenges, and incentives. Build your skill set as you learn from coaching and continuously improve. You’ll be outside, on your feet, moving from house to house and talking to lots of different people. This is not a sit-at-a-desk job.

We need people who will show up, work their shift, follow the process, and do the work - even when every homeowner doesn't answer the door. Shows up on time. Brings energy every shift. Is comfortable approaching strangers. Can confidently knock on 50+ doors during a shift. Doesn't take rejection personally. Can hear "no" and immediately move on to the next door. Follows the process instead of trying to reinvent it. Takes coaching seriously. Competes against themselves and their teammates. Celebrates wins. Wants to get better. Doesn't need to be micromanaged. Understands that results come from repeated activity.

THE SCHEDULE

This is designed to be a flexible part-time opportunity. Typical shifts will be approximately 4 hours, with team members working 3–6 days per week depending on availability and business needs. This can work particularly well around a college schedule, another job, or other commitments.

THIS JOB IS PHYSICAL

You’ll be walking neighborhoods for approximately four hours at a time. You will: Walk several miles during many shifts. Spend most of your shift standing and moving. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Knock on lots of doors. Have conversations with strangers. Experience rejection. Repeat the process over and over. If the idea of talking to people, getting your steps in while earning money sounds awesome, you'll probably love this job. If you hate being outside, walking, or talking to strangers - this probably isn't the job for you. We're not looking for people who want to collect a paycheck for showing up. We're looking for people who want to earn their paycheck.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

You won't be thrown into a neighborhood and told, "Good luck." We'll train you on: Canopy Lawn Care – our process, and what makes us different. How to approach a homeowner, start conversations, establish rapport, identify opportunities, present our lawn-care program, overcome common objections, and ask for the sale. How to track your activity and results. You’ll receive ongoing coaching and feedback. We'll help you identify what you're doing well, where you're getting stuck, and how to improve. The goal isn't just to make you successful at this job - it's to help you develop communication, sales, leadership, and business skills that will be valuable for the rest of your career.
