When you join our team, you’re supported with opportunities to grow, lead, and make a real impact at work and beyond.If you enjoy staying active, working with technology, and creating a smooth, friendly experience for customers, this role could be a great fit.**Why You’ll Love Working Here**We invest in you—because when our team thrives, our communities do too.* Weekly pay* Team member discount* 401(k) with company contributions* Paid parental leave* Paid education assistance* Development programs for advancement and career growth* Paid family care leave* Medical/dental/vision* And more!**What You’ll Do**As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.You’ll:* Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection the carside experience* Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs* Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership* Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed* Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift* Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards* Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines* Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup* Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothlyIn short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.**What You Bring**You don’t need to know everything on day one, we’ll train you. What matters most is your service mindset and attention to detail.* High school diploma or equivalent required* Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach* Ability to learn new technologies quickly* Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred* Past cashier experience preferred* Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable* Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way* Past online ordering experience a plus* You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods### About UsWe opened our doors more than 90 years ago with the goal of helping people provide for themselves and their family.
