Delta Workforce is hiring a Stainless Steel Metal Finisher for a manufacturing company in Redford, MI!

This role focuses on preparing and finishing high-quality stainless steel components for custom laboratory and medical equipment, such as pathology grossing stations. You will use specialized techniques to achieve smooth, durable, corrosion-resistant surfaces that meet strict industry standards for hygiene and performance.

• Experienced applicants only, with preference for candidates from commercial kitchen, food service, or similar stainless steel fabrication environments.
  
• Grain and burnish stainless steel surfaces to specified finishes using hand tools, abrasives, and polishing equipment.
  
• Operate passivation equipment and perform chemical treatments to remove contaminants and enhance corrosion resistance.
  
• Inspect parts for defects, smoothness, and compliance with quality specifications.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace while handling heavy or large stainless steel assemblies.
