Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high volume delivery service License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: - BLS Provider certification - Neonatal Resuscitation certification - Advanced Life Support certification - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification Must-Have: - 2 years minimum of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high volume delivery service Description: This is a Level IV Client Designation facility. The facility consists of 20 labor, delivery, and recovery suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, 51 Mother-Baby couplet rooms, and 14 monitored antepartum rooms. This is an academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices. It is a high-risk, fast-paced delivery service performing over 500 deliveries per month. There is 24-hour in-house attending OB coverage, anesthesia coverage, and NICU coverage. A perinatal transport program is also in place. The facility is expanding in mid-2026 to include a new Women's Tower. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications are required.
