Material Handler II (CLS) (1rst & 2nd Shift)

A Warehouse Packer / Material Handler is primarily responsible for the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and shipping inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Duties include loading orders onto trucks and shipping containers, organizing incoming inventory, and applying appropriate labels to outgoing packages.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Transport products using forklifts (training will be provided).
• Collect orders according to the list provided.
• Package products carefully and efficiently.
• Inspect and maintain packing equipment.
• Perform quality inspections and record defects.
• Handle products manually when necessary.
• Maintain safety and quality standards according to SOPs and cGMP.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Clean machines and work areas after shifts.
• Learn multiple warehouse stations.
• Perform safety checks on equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) is preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts preferred.

Language Skills:

• Basic English to read simple instructions.
• Basic writing and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using common units of measure.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to follow detailed but simple written or oral instructions.
• Problem solving skills to deal with standard situations.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, handle and reach.
• Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and smell.
• Frequently lift/move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift heavier weights.
• Must be able to climb stairs and have visual acuity.
