Accounting Manager

About The Role The role leads the accounting function, overseeing US GAAP compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls in a fast-paced environment. The team relies on this position to drive month-end close accuracy, manage SEC regulatory requirements, and ensure robust SOX controls. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes under US GAAP Oversee SOX compliance, testing internal controls and updating workflows to mitigate financial risks Prepare SEC filings including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports with high accuracy and adherence to deadlines Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate annual audits and tax compliance Implement and optimize financial systems and ERP tools to scale accounting operations Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence What We Are Looking For 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance within tech Active CPA license required; strong, up-to-date knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX frameworks Advanced proficiency with major ERP systems (NetSuite, Workday) and financial modeling in Excel Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related quantitative field Bonus: Experience with IPO readiness or scaling finance teams at venture-backed technology companies #J-18808-Ljbffr
