Home Health RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5 days a week (08:00 - 17:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Home Health RN to provide quality patient care in a home setting. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of patient populations and be adept at managing home health visits effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide care to patients with various medical conditions, including post-surgical cases, cardiopulmonary issues, and neurological disorders.
• Manage patient documentation and maintain thorough records using electronic medical systems.
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and safety precautions.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive devices to support patient mobility and daily activities.
• Perform home visits, ensuring a minimum of 6-8 visits daily as per management's discretion.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and best practices in home care settings.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home health nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Florida or Compact license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• OASIS training preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits.
• COVID-19 vaccination required or an exemption form on file.
• Flu shot or declination and mask-wearing at all times in the workplace.
